Welcome to my World... here is a little bit about me...
My name is William Zin. I graduated from Cal State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Fine Art (BFA), in Illustration in 1990. Finding work in the Art Field as an artist in illustration was difficult. Due to my financial situation, I ended up working in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding Industry from 1992 to present day. I enjoy working in this field and the people I work with and I have accepted this field as my career.
As time went by, I have seen many interesting things and places, whether in photos or in real life, which made me want to draw or paint them. Yet, I seldom would. It was only with my imaginary canvas that they came alive.
In March of 2007, I suffered a heart attack and went through 3 months of recovery. It was during this time to my surprise that I had rediscovered myself and the Art which I loved. This was a second chance, to live life and to do what I love most... and that is Art. I now draw, paint, participate in chalk festival (pavement art or street art) and occasionally create wall murals in public places.
I have also done commission work in graphite (pencils), watercolor, pastel chalk, oil, acrylic and
Chalk Art on pavement or 3D work on the ground or murals for private parties or event.
I hope you will enjoy my work. Please feel free to leave me a comment or inquire in the Contact section.
Thank you for checking my world ...
