Pastel Paintings

There are generally 2 types of pastel, Oil Pastel and Chalk Pastel. I like chalk pastel. It is amazing what the chalk will do. The intensity of the colors and the flexibility of what the color can create. I am no expert in pastels but when you know how to use this medium effectivly, the result is unbelievable.
